The petrichor

It all started with a heavy pounding,
The tiny droplets came in unison,
Thus showing an authentic sense of unity,
Accompanied by the intense winds ,
Taking away every bit of sorrow from the lively souls,

The winds swayed away the trees,
Removing the dirt suck on them,
Giving the most satisfying impression,
Offering the most flamboyant hope to the peasants,
And rewarding the beings with an intoxicating emotion,

Offering the most awaited relief,
Annihilating the heat,
Indicating its arrival with its petrichor,
And all innocuous beings rejoicing ,
The grand appearance of rain.
